3rd Annual Plant Sale Coming Soon!

As spring moves into the harbor, the Ocean Shores Food Bank wants to help local gardeners spruce up their gardens with a wide assortment of plants and garden art at its 3rd Annual Plant Sale, Saturday, April 30th, 9am to 3pm, outside Ocean Sunset Drug, at 121 E Chance a La Mer, in Ocean Shores.

By purchasing plants at the sale, gardeners will, in turn, help the food bank continue to feed the hungry in our community.

It’s a win-win!

The plant sale launched two years ago, after the pandemic forced the cancellation of the food bank’s annual auction and gala.

The plant sale has continued, thanks to the community’s enthusiastic support.

Last year the sale was a huge success with most of the plants selling out in the first couple hours.

Over $8000 was raised, along with over $6000 in donations.

This year, again, volunteers have been busy collecting, growing, and creating items for the sale,including the much-loved hanging fuchsia baskets.

There will also be other items, such as veggie starts, succulents, and hand-made planters.

In addition, there will be the Master Gardener Plant Clinic from 10am to 1pm, to answer your questions and spur planting ideas.
